Data-Companion Factory

A repeatable factory that spins up a self-serve data project for each client, so non-technical teammates can query their own campaign data without going through me.

The problem

Non-technical teammates on the client side needed to answer their own questions about campaign data — but every question routed through me became a bottleneck, and a slow one.

What I built

A factory for standing up a per-client data project from one template: a CSV export, a tailored system prompt, a data dictionary, and a set of starter questions. Point it at a client's data and it becomes a place their team can just ask — no SQL, no ticket to me.

The result

  • Four real client instances built from the single template.
  • Runs without me in the loop after setup — the client refreshes the data weekly and keeps asking.
  • Turned a recurring support burden into a product that scales itself.
